Saving a Game State

I want to be able to save a player's progress through a game. Say, I want to be able to know which levels he's completed and which levels he's unlocked.

Anyone know how I would interact with the Playbook to do this?

Re: Saving a Game State

Hi, there are several technics. I believe you will find this article interesting:

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/articles/saving_state_air_apps.html

You can also use SharedObjects or the File system. If you use Hero (Flex 4.5), you can also use the persistanceManager included in every MobileApplication

Hope this helps,

Fabien

Re: Saving a Game State

I love you.

I think I'm going to go with a shared object. Going to start testing right away.
