Re: Getting Spalsh Screen to Load

The splash file is in the bin-debug folder and I have confirmed it to be in the BAR file.

Re: Getting Spalsh Screen to Load

John, I know it's too obvious to ask... so I'll ask.  Are you sure your blackberry-tablet.xml file is actually getting included in the bar too, with the right name and in the right place?  (And that it's the file you think it is... extract the whole package to a subfolder and inspect everything just so you'll be sure.)

Re: Getting Spalsh Screen to Load

Just an idea, but what if you put in <splashscreen>/assets/image.png</splashscreen>?

Re: Getting Spalsh Screen to Load

We have a winner.  The blackberry-tablet.xml was being copied to the bin-debug folder, but was not being included in the BAR file.  I added it to the packager CLI and it showed up.

Thanks..

Re: Getting Spalsh Screen to Load

Would be nice if the splash screen supported transpancy.

Re: Seperate Splash screen for Landscape / Portrait launches

This is now possible in the 1.0.1 SDK.

<splashscreen>landscape.png:portrait.png</splashscreen>

Simply separate them with a ":".
