Setting RenderMode to DIRECT causes AIR Application to Crash when Changes Orientation

[ Edited ]

Hi,

I created a new Starling project and sets <rendermode> in the BAR descriptor to direct , and whenever the phone changes orientation, the application crashes.

This even happens before I instantiate and start the Starling object..

Any thoughts? Thanks

I tested a Starling project of my own and while the app doesn't crash there are definitely rendering issues. A quick search on google turned up this article on how to deal with orientation changes in Starling - http://wiki.starling-framework.org/manual/auto-rotation

Let me know how you make out!

Cheers,

Dustin
