Social Invoke Framework

[ Edited ]

invoke framework in Air not working properly.

This works but I don't open to send a tweet

request.target = "com.twitter.urihandler";
	request.action = InvokeAction.SHARE;
	request.mimeType = "text/plain";
	request.uri= "data://";
	var data:ByteArray = new ByteArray();
	data.writeUTFBytes( "Lo Logreeeeee" );
	request.data = data;

InvokeManager.invokeManager.invoke(request);

In this way does not work, "Twitter" isn't recognize as target
This is the way that the official documentation suggests

request.target = "Twitter";
	request.action = InvokeAction.SHARE;
	request.mimeType = "text/plain";
	request.uri= "data://";
	var data:ByteArray = new ByteArray();
	data.writeUTFBytes( "Lo Logreeeeee" );
	request.data = data;

InvokeManager.invokeManager.invoke(request);

How can i send a tweet from my app?.

Please use plain text.

Re: Social Invoke Framework

The invoke framework will not send the tweet for you. It can merely open the Compose Tweet Card pre-filled in. It is up to the user to press "Tweet" to actually send it.

This worked for me.

var request:InvokeRequest = new InvokeRequest();
request.target = "Twitter";
request.action = InvokeAction.SHARE;
request.mimeType = "text/plain";
var data:ByteArray = new ByteArray ();
data.writeUTFBytes ("What Logreeeeee");
request.data = data;
InvokeManager.invokeManager.invoke (request);

Please use plain text.

Re: Social Invoke Framework

  1. Is the Twitter application installed on the device?
  2. Is there a Twitter account set up?
  3. What Device, OS Version, SDK version are you using?
