StageVideo?

There was a reference to the StageVideo API in the Adobe Keynote, but I don't see this anywhere in the docs.

Can we get some clarification on this? ie when will it be available, and what codec's can we expect to be supported? Also, will stageVideo support http streaming?

Thanks!

Re: StageVideo?

The StageVideo is a flash platform provided class (flash.media.StageVideo) and is not really in the the blackberry documentation. If you've built the blackberry sdk correctly with AIR 2.5, it should definitely be available. I've just checked on my install and i see the StageVideo classes.

Hope that will help you.

Re: StageVideo?

You mean it's in the default 2,5 API!? I bugged adobe about this after the Keynote, and they indicated it was a custom QNX implementation, I didn't even check to see whether it was available in the standard 2,5 SDK...!
