Re: Support for Flash in Playbook Simulator Browser

"That seems pretty irrationale"

On the contrary :smileyhappy: it happens to be the most rational approach. Seeing may be believing, but reality is less risk.

Imagine you're faced with a million dollar purchasing decision, to be completed by the end of April, and the only time you've seen a critical technology working is when the vendor has tight control of the device.

Would you risk your job that RIM is telling the truth. Or would you buy a device that is already running the technology you need, even if that device is not as good as the Playbook?

My guess is my client isn't the only company faced with this decision, and most enterprises decide on the basis of least risk.

I don't mind spending a couple of thousand on the Affiliate membership, but the Member Requirements of 45 points per year probably means spending rather more each year on RIM services and products to maintain the membership level.

My Device: PlayBook?

Re: Support for Flash in Playbook Simulator Browser

If you've got until the end of April, you can always put together a plan for a PlayBook and a plan for the other device you're considering and then when the PlayBook is released finalize the decision and drop the other plan.
