Re: VMWare Server debugging

Sigh. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on the new SDK/simulator either. Same problem.

Re: VMWare Server debugging

thats a bummer. the only thing to do next would be to turn off any and all firewalls temporarily and see if you connect that way. maybe its a causing some kind of blockage.

Re: VMWare Server debugging

That worked.

Just for future info:

Windows 7 x64 (SP1)

VMWare Server 2.0.2

Eclipse 3.6.1 (not the RIM version that comes with the BlackBerry plugin)

Flash Builder "Burrito"

Tablet Plugin 0.9.4

Tablet Simulator 0.9.4

I found that if I disable the public network firewall, I can connect the debugger. I will mark this as solved once I find a permanent solution (as of right now I would rather not turn it off unless I need to do debugging).

I checked "allowed programs" and both Eclipse and VMWare are allowed (for both public and private). I don't know where it is breaking.

I also connect using the previously mentioned 192.168.74.1 IP that is the first usable IP for the VMWare NAT virtual network.
