Variable rows of controls that is scrollable

I have been struggling wtih which list control to use and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction and save me from tons of experimenting. I have a row of controls: couple of buttons, label and a picker. I may have a variable number of these rows and may need to allow user to scroll through them. Depending on a previous user selection, I may have a variable number of  rows of these controls.

What is the best class, list or pane to use for this?

Appreciate any advice,

Thanks.

Probably QNX list with a custom renderer.  There are lots of threads on this.  If you get stuck, post your code so others can help.

Re: Variable rows of controls that is scrollable

Thanks jtegen for pointing me in the right direction - I didn't even know which class to search for. I searched the forums for List and got lots of useful examples and got mine working.

I can't seem to find drawLabel() method in the CellRenderer methods lists nor in any of the ascendent classes. Is there a way to search for a method using the API help?

Thanks.

Re: Variable rows of controls that is scrollable

hey chillybin,

that method is undocumented (for now). so it wont show up anywhere official. i (we maybe) came accross this via Flash Builder's code helper where it lists all the available funcitons that a sub class can override. without an IDE i cant think of a way to find out what methods you have available except to keep searching the forums. good luck!

Re: Variable rows of controls that is scrollable

In FB4, if you start typing override protected function, it will show up.

The full syntax is:

override protected function drawLabel() : void
