Re: Vendor application approval process

I got everything, but the key signing didn't work.  I requested a new key.

However, I uploaded the application unsigned.  Hopefully it will still allow me to be eligible.

unsigned is fine to qualify for the offer. RIM has said this a number of times. You will need to correctly sign it though before anyone can buy/download it.

Re: Vendor application approval process

Registred an hour ago at the Vendor Portal to upload my app and got the confirmation of Vendor Registration. But I can login to upload the app.

How long does the vendor creation take?

Re: Vendor application approval process

The only thing I got was this email:

Hello,

Your registration to become a vendor on BlackBerry App World™ has been received. It will be reviewed by the BlackBerry App World™ Team and you will be sent an email informing you of the next step in your registration.

In the meantime, please visit http://www.blackberry.com/developer/appworld for detailed information on the product submission process, FAQs, and other BlackBerry App World™ vendor resources.

Regards,

BlackBerry App World™ Team

Re: Vendor application approval process

I think that now in a day or two you'll get another email asking you to send in a scan of your government ID. A day or two after that, you'll be approved as a vendor.

Unless RIM is really working the late shift to get people approved, I don't think you'll be able to get in before the deadline expires...sorry.

Re: Vendor application approval process

They will ask you to send an email containing a scan of the front and back of any government-issued ID to I think blackberryappworldrequests@rim.com. I don't know what happens if you send that in before they ask for it.

Re: Vendor application approval process

That's really hard! I build a cool Last.fm app and Last.fm allowed me to use their logo after talked to the product management.
