Vendor application approval process

My app is almost ready, I've put through my vendor application on the 28th with the signed identification form.

Does anyone know how long does it normally take to get approved?

Re: Vendor application approval process

how did you send in the ID form? via email? if so then it should already be done now. its usually the same day once they receive your ID proof.

Re: Vendor application approval process

Just as I was writing a reply to your question I got the approval in my email. Phew...

Someone must be working back at the office.

Anyway I sent through the ID form rather then the actual ID. I thought that would be safer.

Re: Vendor application approval process

I sent a scanned pdf of my drivers licence but yet to receive a Vendor approval email. While registering for Vendor approval, I used a company name (instead of my name) for display though I am applying as an individual. Could that be an issue for delay?

What does an approval look like. Is it just an email that says that you have been approved and can now use your username and password to login to the Vendor Account. The reason I am asking is this is because I also received an approval for Code Signing key that I applied for today.

Thanks,

Harsh

I did that and didn't have any problem getting approval.

Vendor approval I think took less than a full two days.

Here is what the start of the vendor approval letter looks like:

We are pleased to inform you that your request to be added to Research In Motion's vendor list has been approved.

Re: Vendor application approval process

Great Thanks. I need to be more patient. I applied for it today afternoon and am keeping my fingers crossed to receive it before COB Mar 31 in order to submit my PB app and be eligible for the free PB offer.

Re: Vendor application approval process

I'm in the same boat.

I guess they should have told us to do that first, before working on the apps.
