Hello, I got this error when I try to sing my app:

barsigner error: cannot create application data directory

I tried everything: running as administrator, changing directory security and so on.

I get this error both with command line and from Flash Builder.

I have SDK v.0.9.1

I have my application ready to be submitted but can't figure out this error, I'd be very disappointed to not meet the 31st March deadline :-/

Really 0.9.1? could you sign your app with that version? have you tried the 0.9.4 SDK?

Isn't it more a Windows-related issue?

Anyway I've just retried to download the SDK and it redirects me to the 0.9.1 version. I had to follow another link to start downloading 0.9.4. Confusing at least :-/

I installed the 0.9.4 and the same error persists

For starters submit it unsigned. That way you will meet the deadline as others have done.

Will I qualify for the free PlayBook even with a unsigned application? Are you sure?

If so, that's a good news. I'll submit it unsigned and I'll try to get it signed as soon as I can.

Anyone got the same issue and submitted it unsigned? (and got it approved of course)

Finally I've sort it out.

I had to install 0.9.4 and do the entire process using the command line.

I also set sdk /bin directory into the PATH and executed cmd.exe as administrator (using Win7).
