i'm trying to install the blackberry tablet sdk.   i'm using flash builder 4.5.   when i get to the installation where it asks me for the flash builder install directory, i browse to it and hit continue.   i get a dialog back where it says its the wrong directory.  

the directory is correct, the FB 4.5 .exe file is in that particular directory and it runs just fine.  

is the installer looking for something else?

Have you tried using FlashBuilder 4.6 or 4.7. The current SDK work with those versions without issue (4.7 takes a little adjustment).

Yes you will need to use either 4.6 or 4.7. 4.5 is not compatible with the SDK. The good news is that it's a free upgrade.
