how long does it take for the vendor approval?

[ Edited ]

sigh.

58 hours towards the end of the free playbook offer...

Yet i just submitted the vendor request only..

How long will it take normally? (I received the email asking for image of my identification card and i just responded)

p/s: meanwhile i m waiting for the signing key too.

I think there's no hope for me to be eligible T_T

Verifying vendor information can take 1 or more days.  I think mine was 3 days but that was back in October.  You're probably just a few days late to the dance but I hope you will continue with the process and submit a really great app.

Also you can submit your app unsigned and submit a signed version later

You need the app ready now. My brother registered last week and got it within 24 hours. You dont need the signing.

You don't have to sign your app right away. What he, and many others, are saying is that if you got your vendor approval first and you didn't have your signing keys you could submit unsigned and then sign it later. This way you could beat the deadline.

Sorry dude but you're going to miss out. For me it took about 3 days for BB to confirm the first part of my vendor signup and another 2 or 3 days before I became a fully registered developer after sending them my notarization.

I left mine to the last minute as well but that was back before the offer got extended in January. Hopefully you can make enough money from your app to buy a playbook.

Re: how long does it take for the vendor approval?

Acually I just read your post properly and saw this bit "I received the email asking for image of my identification card and i just responded". So you still have a chance, however slim. Good luck.
