how to save date in sqlite database?

Hai,

       I am trying to add date in database.I need to place only dd/mm/yy from device date.. also I need to check the date difference from sqlite.. Have any idea about this please help me

You can save as string, but in a YYYY/MM/DD format so comparisons can be made. You can save it as an integer (Unix time) for faster comparisons. You will need to truncate the time if that is not important.
