Hi there,

Did anyone notice any UI changes / ugliness in qnx lists after moving the PlayBook up to 1.0.6? It looks like the skins appear streched and overlaid on top of each other for neighbouring cells. In my app, I'm using TileList and RoundedButtonSkinBlack as a skin in the CellRenderers.

The lists used to look fine before 1.0.6. I recompiled my app again with SDK 1.1.0 as well but nothing has changed.

No changes here in 3-4 apps with Lists. Maybe it's limited to TileList, though that is a subclass of List.

Can you post any screenshots? Or description of what you're putting in the cells? I assume you're using a custom CellRenderer.

There where no changes to the lists or skins for this release.

Is your stage being scaled?

do you have the following code at the beginning of your application.


stage.align = StageAlign.TOP_LEFT;
stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;

What I have is an MXML app with QNX controls used here and there. The QNX controls are added to my views using some wrappers that Renaun has prepared. I wasn't initially planning to use QNX controls but since I saw the spark lists' performance suffer on actual PlayBook I decided to do mix and match rather that writing everything from scratch.

@jdolce I set the properties of the stage once my ViewNavigatorApplication is added to stage but that didn't change/fix anything.

I am not really sure what is going on there. I haven't tested the components at all using MXML as they where not designed to be ActionScript only. If you have a sample app that shows the behavior I am happy to have a look.

i can confirm this. and i think it's a bug. in one of our apps, we use a customized cell renderer, and after the newest update to 1.0.6.xxxx, the list is not correctly sized and looks overstretched. the only point where the list looks somewhat ok is after an update of the list, but only for the entries before the very last one. after a restart of the app, it's stretched again

if you others want to see it, you can see it in our free app Colors, as long as it hasn't been updated

Same issue here, after upgrading the OS and SDK event dropdowns are being rendered blury and cut of until the use scrolls.

sorry i have to use this method. i need your help, i am not getting access to the qnx list when i am developing playbook using flash builder . can you help me please . i reinstall the playbook os sdk twice already and same results.

Could someone who is experiencing this issue create an issue in Issue Tracker and attach some sample code  (ActionScript preferred) that reproduces this behaviour?
