qnx.ui.display image class vs flash.display.loader class

I have created a class to autosize and load images for my application when I started tredging through the qnx.ui classes.

noticed the image class, specifically image.smoothing option. and caching.

anyone know the benefits of using the qnx classes for loading images over the flash classes. Anyone tried both and seen a difference.

Thanks.

At the low level they are exactly the same. Meaning you can do what the qnx Image class is doing with the Loader class. The qnx.ui.Image class just makes it  easier to load an image rather then you having to create the event listener, implement caching etc and mess with the raw Loader api's.
