Re: "BlackBerry Tablet" option Missing in Target platforms in Burrito

hey,

instead of creating a new Flex Mobile Project, try creating a new ActionScript Mobile Project and choose Hero as the SDK. good luck!

Re: "BlackBerry Tablet" option Missing in Target platforms in Burrito

Still no Blackberry Tablet option as Target Platform.

Or can I develop for it regardless of it lacking?

Re: "BlackBerry Tablet" option Missing in Target platforms in Burrito

Is it possible to develop for the Playbook if 'Blackberry Tablet' Target Platform isn't availble?

Can I start developing something and then bring it into a new project once this issue gets sorted out?

Well you could write code, but you couln't use any of the QNX packages nor could you test it on the simulator. I had the same problem while transitioning from 0.9.1 to 0.9.2. Here's what I did to fix this:

-Uninstall Adobe Flash Builder completely

-Delete the installation folder of flash builder (something like c:\program files\Adobe... ) and all folders created by previous attempts

-Reboot! (Yes, this time it is necessary)

-Reinstall Adobe Flash Builder

-Reinstall PlayBook SDK

-Edit the properties of the Flash Builder link so you always run it as administrator (If you don't know how, check the getting started guide) (NOTE: this is crucial!)

-Launch!

Re: "BlackBerry Tablet" option Missing in Target platforms in Burrito

I had the same issue on Windows 7. Clean re-installed several times did not help.

But finally got it working just now.

The trick was after fresh re-install Burrito + SDK with admin priv, run Burrito as admin and manually add BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK to Installed Flex SDK on Burrito.

From Menu->Window->Preferences->Flash Builder ->Installed Flex SDK

Set the location to where SDK is installed. Mine was

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder Burrito\sdks\blackberry-tablet-sdk-0.9.2

Hope this help.

Re: "BlackBerry Tablet" option Missing in Target platforms in Burrito

Thanks, that's definitely part of the problem.

But now I have a new one, once I set that as the default SDK, I get an error when I try to create a new Flex Mobile Project or a new ActionScript Mobile Project, I receive the following error:

"The selected Flex SDK does not support building mobile projects"

Any ideas?

I had the same issue. Do not select BlackBerry as default SDK.

Leave the default to Hero.

Finally, It is working on Win 7

How I did that?  I install everything in D drive instead following default folder installation.
