Handling "B" keyboard key on Q10 device in web application

I am porting Android HTML 5 applications to Blackberry 10 and run into following issue:

I need to support “B” keyboard hotkey on Q 10 and run into problem that this key is a shortcut for scrolling to the bottom of the screen and  I can’t find a way to disable this behaviour (I tried implementing KeyListener in my Activity, but it seems that “B” key is handled somewhere higher and don’t propagate to this event). I am handling key event in javascript, and can handle other keys (except “B”) without problem.

Please let me know if it is possible to disable “B” shortcut programmatically and how.

Re: Handling "B" keyboard key on Q10 device in web application

We addressed this in 10.2 by just removing the shortcuts in WebViews (the implementation was broken).  Until we can address it correctly, shortcuts are disabled in favour of having proper text input Smiley Happy
