BB simulator keyboard input issue with Android WebView

Hello everybody

I am running the most recent BB simulator, using VMware Fusion on a Mac (10.9). I am porting my Android App to BB, which uses Facebook to connect. When trying to do so, the Android SDK's Facebook Java class opens an Android WebView to enter my account credentials, but I cannot manage to make the shift key to work (means i can't enter the @ character and only lower case characters and numbers). I tried different keyboard profiles in VMWare, but with no result. Using my Mac's keyboard in other BB apps works fine, though. Attaching an external USB keyboard does not help either.

Copy and pasting my user credentials from a notes application helped, but a WebView rendering bug keeps me from completing the login process.

Has anybody ancountered a similar issue?

Thanks,

Peter
