Re: Debugging Playbook Beta 2.1 In App Purchase (IAP)

What do you mean you don't know if you get a response? Even Asynchronous calls get a response, the calls just don't block. Your app would still need to verify the purchase details (success or failure) as well as possibly verify the signature.

Re: Debugging Playbook Beta 2.1 In App Purchase (IAP)

This is Android App not a BlackBerry native app.

We are not supposed to verify the  signature via the documentation on the at

http://developer.blackberry.com/android/apisupport/apisupport_inapp_payments_support.html

It clearly states "Transaction Responses Are Not Signed"

Since app is Android app we are not supposed to verify signature

RIght now I am using Version 3 of GooglePlay inApi api since its synchronouse it will be easier to test

Right now I am testing with sandbox user how can I debug anything?

Right, but you never verified you were not checking the signature. If you were then it could be the cause of the problem.

You cannot debug an app downloded through BlackBerry World so you would need to either display debug info on the device display, or write out to a log file on the device that can be accessed via the computer (ex shared/documents).

Re: Debugging Playbook Beta 2.1 In App Purchase (IAP)

We are not verifying the signature because the BlackBerry documentation says we should not verify signature. I still have not received a response confirming Google Play Version 3 inApp API will work. Please confirm

Re: Debugging Playbook Beta 2.1 In App Purchase (IAP)

It's an add-on library, so as long as it is supported in Gingerbread then it should work well. If you need to verify you can always perform the -verify on your APK file.

Re: Debugging Playbook Beta 2.1 In App Purchase (IAP)

Version 3 is not compatible. We get this error

""Problem setting up in-app billing :IAbResult: Billing service unavailable on device(response: 3 billing"

BlackBerry will need to add support for Version 3.

Rolling back to Version 2 to see if we get response.

Adding debug statements to asynchronous call back method

Re: Debugging Playbook Beta 2.1 In App Purchase (IAP)

My team said they were verifying the response.

I am testing new version without verification

Re: Debugging Playbook Beta 2.1 In App Purchase (IAP)

My team has confirmed that we are getting a resonse.  But even after we make purchase and my credit card

charged the response from the Black Berry Payment Service is that there were no purchases.

There appears to be a problem on how the BlackBerry Payment Service is handling requests that

come from a Android app.

I uploaded new version that will show me exact response we get.

After its upload I will give you the URL you can give me an email address that you will use to login

to a Playbook and you can download my app to see the response.

We are also NOT verifying the signature.

Can you verify on your end the that BlackBerry Payment Service is correctly handling Android requests

that query a users inApp purchases?

What response is your app receiving? This would help in determining what the issue may be.
