Re: Debugging Playbook Beta 2.1 In App Purchase (IAP)

Does your application verify the signature of the purchase when a response is received?

Do you have any logging you could use to verify the response is/is not received?

Re: Debugging Playbook Beta 2.1 In App Purchase (IAP)

My team gave me a new version Forecatica Lite 4.7 I deployed to store same issue exist.

I buy inApp I see charge on credit card but its not appearing as

marked Paid in my app.

I also have a Restore button to synch up inApp items and mark

them as Paid if user has paid for them. Clicked Restore button

after purchase items were still NOT marked as paid

App works fine in GooglePlay.

How can I log anything when app is running in AppWorld?

I am not sure how to debug this issue.

Will touch base with my team to see if they verify the signature of

the purchase

Re: Debugging Playbook Beta 2.1 In App Purchase (IAP)

Here is update

1. Our app works in GooglePlay
2. InApps are setup correctly in Vendor Management
3. Our Restore button works in Google Play that synchs inApp items with apps they have paid for.

In AppWorld I do the following

1. Click Buy Button
2. I got the BlackBerry Playbook confirm purchase window
3. Click button to buy
4. Credit is Charged
5. inApp item is not marked as paid
6. Restore button returns message "You have no purchases" If
they I bought item.

We need instructions on debugging. We don't know how to debug response in appworld.

Are other developers facing this issue?

Did you ever get verification on this?

It is not possible to debug an app installed through BlackBerry World, so you would need to dump the logs someplace accessible for testing if needed: the screen or the shared directory in a file for testing.

Re: Debugging Playbook Beta 2.1 In App Purchase (IAP)

Right now current Google inApp API is asychronous. So we don't know if we get response.  This could

be the issue.

They released Version 3 which is synchronous.  I am upgrading to Version 3.

See more on Version 3 at

http://developer.android.com/google/play/billing/api.html

Question I have is the following

"Is Playbook / BB 10 Android inApp purchasing compatible with Version 3 which is synchronous?"

Right now I a have the synchronous version in draft state in Vendor Portal and testing.

My team needs to fix somethings I will let you know the results.

If it works you will need to update the developers site to state that developers must use

Version 3 which is synchronous
