Hey Dexo,

Could you please clarify what you mean when you say it is not recognizing your permission?

I mean when installing/ opening the bar file in playbook. It should ask user to allow gps permissions or not. But it neither asks during installation nor on launching the app.

Re: GPS permission in android app to bar file

Hi there,

im having a similar issue.

Despite "Entry-Point-User-Actions:: read_geolocation" being set in the Manifest.MF file, it doesnt ask for the permissions when starting the app.

The strange thing about this is, that it finds the GPS location in the app. Its just not listed under the GPS-Permissions.

Im using the newest Version of the BB10 OS, which is currently 10.1.0.2354.

Best regard

Smolof

Re: GPS permission in android app to bar file

If you're sideloading a BAR yourself to a PlayBook or BB10 device, you will not see a prompt for permissions.

You will see the prompt when installing the app directly from App World however.
