How to remove Leaked Android Player

Okay, I did download and install the leaked Android player on my Playbook. Apparently that is messing up with the official player now and I'm unable to launch Android apps from Eclipse. Several other threads suggest a security wipe of the device.

 

While security wipe will be the last possibility, can anyone help me removing the leaked Android Player without going through the security wipe?

BTW, i did end up wiping the device, still no luck :smileysad:
