Log files

I converted an Android .apk into a .BB10 .bar using command-line tools, and installed it on a BB10 Dev Alpha B device.

It returns an error to an AJAX call (it is a hybrid app written using both HTML5 and Java). JS alerts do not display any useful information from the error callback (using jQuery 1.7.2). I did add the URL to the config.xml whitelist though unsure if this is used in .apk->.bar conversion.

How do I find the log files (on Android, logcat would be used)?

I have tried using blackberry-connect and ssh, and searched /accounts/1000 for the app, but was unable to locate it.

Thanks.

Re: Log files

Answer: device connects over wireless, not USB. So, to access logcat:

1. blackberry-connect <device-ip> -password <device-pass> -sshPublicKey <ssh2-key-path>/id_rsa.pub

2. adb connect <ipaddr>:5555

3. adb logcat

Re: Log files

Actually, it should be possible to connect over wireless or USB, as the Native SDK (in Momentics IDE) uses USB.

I abandoned USB after installing the USB drivers and failing to to connect, but perhaps this was a security issue (note that SSH is running in the wireless solution above).

Also, the idea for using wireless was here:
