Native 'Videos' app doesn't observe .nomedia flag

In our Android app we are storing video files in a folder on external storage. We are creating a .nomedia file to flag this folder to not show up in the Gallery app.

This works within the Android runtime, but the native Playbook Videos app still shows all the media in this folder.

Re: Native 'Videos' app doesn't observe .nomedia flag

.nomedia is an Android thing so there is no reason to expect Playbook to observe it.

Hi!

Did you tried it with creating a file with the name .metadata_never_index?

Regards
