Package-Author-Id Mismatch Bug?

An old error message has come back to haunt me!

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but when I attempt to generate a bar using the command line and my debug Token i.e.

apk2bar AndroidApp.apk c:\android\sdk -d DebugToken.bar -a "My Company"

The resulting manifest.mf in the newly created bar file has the correct Package-Author but a seemingly random Package-Author-Id

Package-Author: My Company
Package-Author-Id: testEHc__cht1BEBvJqJKuMif4M

Whereas the one from my DebugToken.bar shows:

Package-Author: My Company

Package-Author-Id: gYAAgJjBXNdJQFQYoavGO_pY7Uo

When I try to deploy the bar to a real playbook, I get the unsuprising old friend:

result::failure 500 Application author does not match debug token author.

However if I unpack the bar file, edit the manifest to match the real Package-Author-Id from my debugToken, all is well and the app deploys correctly.

Am I doing something wrong / stupid or is there a slight bug in the ADT that mangles the Package-Author-Id?

Rufus - with two Android apps running on his Playbook so now happy!

Re: Package-Author-Id Mismatch Bug?

Hello Rufus,

What author values are being set when running the standard apk2bar command?
