Repackage a Unity APK file to BAR?

Hello,

The title says it all. Can an APK created from Unity be repackaged as a BAR and run on the playbook? Has anyone tried?

The Android Player does not currently support any native code, which would be used by Unity APK applications.

Are there any plans to support it in future? I'm sure it would be appreciated by a lot of unity developers.

There are plenty of games based on the unity 3D engine on the Playbook --- like Samurai Vengeance II.  All the pieces are there for you to port the iOS version of your unity 3D game to the Playbook/BB10.

Hi,

Just an update here: No need for Unity Apk -> Bar file conversion because full support for Blackberry 10 deployment ic coming up very soon. Here is more information on Unity Open Beta SDK registration
