Restoring barsigner.csk or alternative help

Hello,

I've lost the barsigner.csk running the new method to 'run any 2.3.3 android app ...' I accidentially deleted the barsigner.csk and barsigner.db files ;(

The files were used to sign a game currently in appworld. We have a new release ready but it is a completely 'different' game.

Is there ANY way we can get the users currently playing the game to install this release? Can we contact all teh users that have downloaded teh game somehow?

Or anyway to regen the barsigner files (All code signing keys are avaliable)

Any help wouyld be greatly appreciated

Re: Restoring barsigner.csk or alternative help

Hello u_zahoor,

Thanks for touching base.

For security reasons, this is not supported. In the future please be sure to backup your signature keys for safe keeping.

You will be required to request a new set of signature keys from the link below and register them to your development machine.

Request BlackBerry Code Signing Keys

https://www.BlackBerry.com/SignedKeys/

Your new signature keys can be backed up via the method described below:

Re: Restoring barsigner.csk or alternative help

Thanks for the reply James. I think I have found the barsigner files using a recovery program though. I'll give them a go and see if everything works. Once again, thank you
