Run As Blackberry Android Launch removes existing application database from target

When using eclipse plugin to launch an application on a z10 target it uninstalls the application first then reinstalls it. This results in deleting all the application's data on the device and prevents upgrade testing.  Is there a way to upgrade the application on a target device using eclipse?

Using the followin eclipse version:

Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers.

Version: Indigo Service Release 2
Build id: 20120216-1857

Re: Run As Blackberry Android Launch removes existing application database from target

Hi,

If I use the command line tool blackberry-deploy from the BB10 SDK tools, in my experience all the application data persist after the update.

The command line works. I did not find an option in the eclipse plugin to install without clearing the app's data.
