onKeyDown() support?

[ Edited ]

Hi there, I've an android app that listens to the volumn key pressed event with onKeyDown(), so far from my testing on Z10, the official 10.1.0.2014 doesn't support, unofficial 10.1.0.2342 doesn't supprort either...anyone know if 10.2.x would? or is there other way to listen for this event?  Thanks.

note: actually the onKeyDown() works for the virtual key "back"

crackberry link claims 10.1.0.2343 supports "Side buttons working with Android apps now"

Re: onKeyDown() support?

Just tried with 10.2.0.341 on z10, still doesn't work.

Re: onKeyDown() support?

This is currently not supported (for the volume up / down keys), but it's something that we are aware of.

The problem is that there's no way to even do this in a native app; it's just not exposed.  So we cannot support it until that's supported.
