share framework v1

Is there any documentation on how to register Android applications with the share framework v1 so that Blackberry can see them on the share menu? I am using 10.2.1 beta.

Re: share framework v1

Hey Katrina,

There's no documentation just yet, but it is coming.

Fortunately, there's nothing special that you need to do for the Android application. As long as your intent-filter will support android.intent.action.SEND and support the right mimeType for your data, it will show up in the share menu.

Hope this helps :smileyhappy:

Re: share framework v1

What should the blackberry action be to received by Android as android.intent.action.SEND? I have tried bb.action.SHARE, bb.action.OPEN, and bb.action.VIEW.

Re: share framework v1

Katrina,

If you've registered an intent-filter with android.intent.action.SEND, you should be able to see it with bb.action.SHARE, from a native application.

I believe there's a minor bug open for custom mime-types though.
