Hi my app, application has been waiting on test house since February 9th and is still in the same state. Is this normal?

Re: waiting on test house?

Sounds abnormal to me. Mine switched to test house waiting on the 22nd Feb and got approved today. Might be worth filling this out:

Re: waiting on test house?

Mine (QuikBrowser) has been waiting since Feb. 23 :/. I just contacted them. I hope I get approved soon! :smileyhappy:

A little unrelated, but If I submitted the application on the 23 (with conformation from BB), and became a developer and submitted my first app during the first PlayBook offer (which ended the 16th I think), would I still be able to qualify for the offer? They said they were extending the offer to March 1st for submission, and that we could make changes if the app gets rejected. Is this true?

Re: waiting on test house?

@Buckoman Given my timelines, it should be just around the corner for you. Pretty sure you're covered regarding the offer. Did you get the "You have take the first steps" mail?

Re: waiting on test house?

Only for my first application, which failed. For my second app (QuikBrowser), I only received a submission conformation. Should I have gotten a first steps for my second app?

Re: waiting on test house?

If you just recreated the same app to resubmit, I think you will not get a first-steps mail.

I had to rename my old application and submit a new product with the same name because of a signing issue. I got just the submission notice as well. I read on the dev blog that this does not disaqualify you from the PlayBook offer.

Re: waiting on test house?

Hm.... This is a totally different app for submission. I idn't get a first steps mail, but my application was just approved!

Will it come in shortly after? I'm kind of confused right now.

Re: waiting on test house?

Hi,

It's my 1st post, but I read your posts since 3 or 4 weeks.

I've submitted my app at 02nd march 00:08 am, but I live in UTC+1 zone, so that was even 1st of march in Canada. I've recived e-mail:

Topic: Vendor Portal for BlackBerry App World Submission Receipt

This email acknowledges the submission of the product named: 'Charades - Kalambury' and 1 new release(s) for the product.

Another email will be sent as soon as any updates are made in the approval process.

Sincerely,
The BlackBerry Team

My product status is "Pending Review 3 Open CR(s)" (3 because I've submitted new release with update). My ticket status is "waiting on test house".

This is my situation. I know that I've to wait, but I'm worried, because I didn't received any other e-mail. I've found many of your posts, that you received "first step" e-mail, but I did not. Should I be worried? :smileysad: I'm upset, because, I might have done sth worng and my app is not eligible for free PB offer.

Best regards!!!

Re: waiting on test house?

I would contact the above form (should be the first or second post), and BlackBerry will get back to you soon. I would explain the WHOLE story, just so they have a standpoint.
