Announcing BlackBerry Protect

BlackBerry® Protect

Product Overview

BlackBerry® Protect is designed to provide users with a convenient way to back up and restore BlackBerry device data over the wireless network. BlackBerry Protect also includes features that help users find their device and protect their device data if their device is ever lost or stolen.

Users can configure BlackBerry Protect to automatically back up their data. If their device is lost, they can use the BlackBerry Protect web site to help find it (for example, by viewing its approximate location on a map). If their device is stolen, they can use the BlackBerry Protect website to help protect their data (for example, by remotely deleting data from the device).

Devices that use a BlackBerry® Enterprise Server are not supported.
