Announcing BlackBerry Work Drives Maintenance Release 1 (MR1)

Product Overview

BlackBerry® Work Drives is a free application that:

  • Provides quick access to your organization’s shared network drives from the Enterprise Workspace on BlackBerry® 10 devices

  • Leverages your BlackBerry® Enterprise Server 10 for a secure connection, encryption and compression

  • Integrates these network drives directly into the native BlackBerry 10 File Manager

New Features

  • Offline access to your network files and folders with pinning: Turn your legacy network drives into secure “cloud” storage repositories for your BlackBerry 10 enabled mobile workforce
  • Automatically synchronize latest changes to network files: File changes made offline will be automatically synchronized back to the network shared file or folders
  • Extend synchronization beyond Wi-Fi networks to the mobile network so you’re working with the most recent document version: Simply configure your network settings to select ‘Use Cellular Network’ and your files are immediately uploaded to the network.
  • Enhanced notifications so you always have access to your network Work Drives while on the go: Better notifications help for quicker issue resolution. Notifications come directly into the BlackBerry® Hub and/or the Work Drives application itself.

System Requirements

  • BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 (or above) and BlackBerry® Balance™
  • Operates in the BlackBerry Work Perimeter only
  • BlackBerry® Device software version 10.0 and above
