Over the next few weeks, we’ll be making some awesome changes to our beloved BlackBerry Support Community Forums. We’ll still have the same great community and the same fantastic members but it will all look a lot different.
As we get older (celebrating our 3RD Birthday on April 1st!) we want to keep things fresh, making sure the Forums are inviting and easy to navigate for all users. From our valued Super Users to our New Visitors, we want everyone to feel as though this is a Community they’re proud to be a part of – and want to invite all their friends to!
With the newly redesigned look, you’ll see new features like integration of our Inside BlackBerry Blogs, our Twitter Support channels and links to our other Community platforms like MyBlackBerry and BetaZone.
You’ll also notice that we have separated the categories into 3 larger top level categories: General Support, Business Support and Developer Support and further divided them into similar existing categories that you’re aware of today. However, the redesign will have no effects on existing user generated content. All posts will exist as they do now, but will be divided into the new top level categories.
Another new perk: Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to see an up to date feed of the latest Accepted Solutions, newest posts, and even track the Topics you Subscribe to, all from your main landing page.
We’ll post again just before we go live as a little reminder, and if you have feedback after the launch, please let us know – we’d love to hear what you think.
Enjoy your stay!
