The following error message appears when BlackBerry App World™ is launched:
BlackBerry App World is not currently available in your country
Cause:
BlackBerry App World is only available in specific countries.
Wouldnt it be better to tell people "why" instead of just showing a list of supported countries?
if government issue, then user can petition their government
If not carrier supported, they can petition their carrier
if other expalin a bit so users can request the place of concern

Hey knottyrope,
I feel your pain on this one - but the reasons App World isn't available in certain countries is actually business related. We have to ensure that we and our partners meet local laws and legislations for operating an e-commerce system and that can take time. We're in over 110 countries now and adding more and more every month.

Possible the above might be in some sort of stages you could publish? that would at least let users know what is going on and at what stage is an issue is at. A little knowlege is better than just a list of supported countries.
