When will you fix the know problem with BBM on Andriod Lenovo Smartphones?

This issue has been previously reported and is being investigated by our development team. A time frame on a resolution is not available though. To aid in the investigation though please review the following and submit logs if possible.

After upgrading to BBM for Android 2.2.1.40, the BBM application will force close and display: Unfortunately BBM has stopped. This issue is known for Lenovo Android devices.

 

Provide the following details to assist with the investigation:

 

  1. Exact error message that is displayed when the force close occurs.
  2. Full steps to reproduce the issue.
  3. Timezone and exact time the force close occurred.
  4. Once a ticket has been created, submit logs as per KB35080

Source; KB36059 "Unfortunately BBM has stopped" is displayed while using BBM for Android 2.2.1.40

An updated version of BBM for Android that addresses this issue has been made available :smileyhappy: 

 

Please update your version of BBM for Android using the Google Play when possible!
