Thanks. I do still seem to have an issue this morning, but it is at least good to know that RIM is aware of the problem (and that I am not the only one). I can also confirm that I do have the bb logo in the top right like the others who responded.

jvpv, have you tried the "restore using email" method again this morning?

I recommend you call Rogers and seek tech support from BlackBerry on the issue.

Actually I no longer seem to have the restore via email option this morning. I get the server error before that even comes up. I will try Rogers support.

I would also try a powered on, battery removal, reboot first.

Attempted restart/battery pull again a couple of times this morning. No luck.

 

The odd thing is bbm messages still come in... I just can't view them.

Try the BBM setup again,... i just was told by another user in this forum (on Rogers) that his setup is now working.

To everyone still having the problem try the setup again. Do a battery pull first. If it still isn't working then you should contact your carrier and ask to be escalated to BlackBerry Support. The only for them to know how widespread an issue is is when they log support calls. If you haven't contacted them please do so.

Judging by the fact that there is a KB listed with no resolution yet, they certainly know that they do have an issue, and I'm sure that they are working very hard to get their flagship messaging software fixed on their brand spanking new flagship phones.

 

That said it certainly wouldn't hurt to help them get some log files by calling your carrier as J_C suggested and asking to be escalated to Blackberry technical support.
