I have sorted it out with luck and i want people to know how i managed to do it:
If you have similar issue about your bbm contact not dropping after an upgrade or update, go to your Blackberry Application World it will ask you to fill in your Id password then it will start synchronizing from the cloud or something before you know it your BBM contacts are restored:
Am still working on how my phone contacts will be fully restored.
Thanks and stay cool

Here some info you need
Copy contacts to and from SIM card
The Copy All feature can be used to copy contacts from your SIM card to your contacts list. A helpful feature when you are setting up a new device. You can also copy contacts from your contacts list to your SIM card, but they must be copied individually to ensure storage availability. Depending on your wireless service provider, your BlackBerry smartphone might not use a SIM card.

I have done this before and all my contacts on the SIM were being copied successfully but the contacts saved on my device not on my SIM before doing the upgrade are not showing. When i received any calls from the contacts i saved on my device, their name does not show but later if i check the call log i would see their name. I cant search for their names on my contacts it wont appear....
