Tell them your BlackBerry data is not working and you cannot connect to BBM. If they can't sort it out have them escalate the issue to BlackBerry.

D/l the BBM 7.0.1.16 on my BB Curve 7.1.0.714 (build 2039). Recd the keycode and pasted it after installation. All fine till then. Post that keep getting a msg while setting up BBM "Cannot set up BBM: A temporary BBM server has occurred". Need some help omn this.

Hello     i did the last update blackberry messenger on my bold 9790 and since he displays the message "association bbm to your blackberry ID" and this for two days   :Helpsmilie:

Try this:

Using Desktop Manager make a full backup of the device.

Once done with that use the "Delete Data" option in the Device menu. Then delete ONLY the database for BlackBerry Messenger.


Now disconnect, make sure you're connected via cell data or wifi and try logging in to BBM again.

This has worked for me in the past.

Clearing the BlackBerry Messenger database Wil allow you to log in again. Simple.
