These are the instructions. Hopefully a French speaker will be here soon!

Using Desktop Manager make a full backup of the device.

Once done with that use the "Delete Data" option in the Device menu. Then delete ONLY the database for BlackBerry Messenger.


Now disconnect, make sure you're connected via cell data or wifi and try logging in to BBM again.

This has worked for me in the past.

rebonjour, j'ai supprimer la base de donnée de blackberry messenger mais ca me refait le même problème. Y aurait il un autre moyen de réparer blackberry messenger s'il vous plait. merci d'avance

welcome back, I delete the database blackberry messenger but it me again the same problem. Would there be another way to repair blackberry messenger please. thank you in advance

Do you have the BB Logo in the top right corner of the home screen next to your signal strength? It sounds like you are not getting a data connection.

JC only that I know you're posting with auto correct enabled would I understand the "Jerome" screen and "Eating" data. :smileywink:

Contact your carrier and make sure you're on the correct data plan for your device. No BB logo means no connection to BlackBerry data. Without that you'll never get BBM working.
