Re: Feature Requests for BlackBerry10 OS

OK, open the text message chat > tap the three dots lower right > Copy Chat.

Then paste that into the Remember app note, it will retain the names in the chat and the time stamps.

I'll look at your other post.

Re: Feature Requests for BlackBerry10 OS

Run a virtual machine (KVM), and put a guest android OS ontop of QNX.

Then run Android Apps on it.

Don't need to be high performance,

May consume more battery power, but who cares if you can run Android Apps.

Re: Feature Requests for BlackBerry10 OS

I would like to see, that when I click on "text message" on my Z10's desktop icon, it would actually take me to the text message box directly without going through the hub first. As, all depending on where the hub was position wise, it can take up to 3 swipes to finally get to the text message box , where you actually compose a text message.

Re: Feature Requests for BlackBerry10 OS

Well, BB10 already runs an Android emulator. And it does so very well actually, many apps performing better than on their Android counterparts.

Personally. I would rather drain less battery with more limited compatibility.

As for text messages, I deleted my text message icon, you can don't directly from the hub, there isn't even a need for an icon. Try hiding it and not using it, and see if it doesn't work a bit better for you.

Re: Feature Requests for BlackBerry10 OS

Regarding that post about text messages, I totally agree. I never really noticed as I hardly send text except when travelling not connected to data or such. But yes, one would expect to be taken directly to the text message section of the hub and not the last used function.

Re: Feature Requests for BlackBerry10 OS

Thx, the "Copy chat" option must have been added relatively recently, perhaps in 10.2. Still doesn't seem to be a way to easily copy a single message with sender and time stamps.

Worked very simply for me.

Re: Feature Requests for BlackBerry10 OS

Something that I guess is still missing from the previous versions is the "in pouch" behaviour for sound profile(s).

This would be nice to have them back in BB 10 :smileywink:

I forgot about this feature, but definitely would be nice to have back , maybe we should post this request in the beta zone app where we know BlackBerry is reading our requests
