Memorizing BlackBerry Link settings

I noticed that after I don't connect my BB Q10 to a desktop, that it doesn't remember that the mass storage function was enabled. Pretty annoying in my opinion, but maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I just checked my settings and this is what I saw:

BlackBerry Link Turned Off

Then when I plug the USB cable in it says:

BlackBerry Link

So I'm like what?! And then when I check the Mass Storage feature somewhere else in the menu, it's suddenly turned off:

So, I turn mass storage on again, to copy my files. And about a week later this whole story repeats.

Does anyone else have this problem too?

Thanks.

Re: Memorizing BlackBerry Link settings

Hey CaptainCapslock,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

Is BlackBerry Link install on the PC or Mac computer?  Also the mass storage option should be set to Off when connecting the BlackBerry 10 smartphones.

I look forward to your reply.

Cheers.

Re: Memorizing BlackBerry Link settings

Hi! Thanks for your reply.

BlackBerry Link isn't installed on the target PC's. However I prefer it not to be installed, since I use the mass storage option.

Kind regards
