SMTP Settings

If connected on wifi, my mobile smtp settigns di not work. Is there no single smtp to use for both wifi and mobile carrier? It used to work perfectly on my Bold 9900, since I have the Z10, this does not seem to work.

 

ANNNOYED.

It should work on both mobile network and WiFi.

I think there is a firewall on your WiFi router that prevents you to use the correct SMTP port.

Please try in another WiFi area, or change the setup of your WiFi router.

My email on the Z10 is setup with my mobile providers smtp details:

 

smtp.vodamail.co.za

 

This server authenticates when I am using my phone when out o fthe office, and not connected to the office wifi. I can send and receive emails. As soon as I enter the office and the wifi switches on, the smtp defaults and i cannot send email form my device.

 

Please advise.

My SMTP port for the wifi is port 2525. Even If i use this on my smtp.vodamail.co.za, it still does not work. Can you advise as to the correct settings for the wifi router?
