also 10.3 doesn't allow to query the calls list!!!

Why?
Why?
Why?
Don't you re-implement what it has been always there in previous BlackBerry OSes?

I receive a call from a number that is NOT in the contacts (but now looks it doesn't work anymore also for those in the contacts)
I want to
- search if I ever had contacts with that number
- how many times
- when
- how long it/they lasted that/those calls

Why you turned a professional phone into a useless gadget?

What is the point of having databases that can't be queried?

Thank you

10.3 is not official... lot's left to fix, update and include.

Judging your unofficial beta as final, is sorta useless.

I am on 10.2.1.2941 and I can search a phone number in my contacts and pull up a contact with that number.

Re: also 10.3 doesn't allow to query the calls list!!!

Sorry JS you didn't read carefully my request

I DON'T need to know if I have ever received a call from my contacts!! Since they are my contacts I know them

I receive a call from one number NOT in my contacts

I only read the number

I had not answered, it may be a new customer, it could be a customer I got in touch recently.

To better set up my call to that not named number, I must rebuild the calls history (if any) with that number and discover if I have ever speak with that number before.

This was a normal function with BlackBerry up to 7.x

It is normal in the cheapest android phone

It has been removed in OS10!?!!!!?!?!!!

This is a tool more than a phone, for people that should work with a phone that also is a communications and relations center and developers have killed a must have function.

I want back what it was possible to have before :-)))

The history for ANY number that I may click on the calls list and it must pop the whoooooooole conversations and sms history with that number, up to the begin (if available) since (very-very-very-important) I must be able to reconstruct if I was the first to call it or if it has been the first to call me

And I repeat, I don't have that number in my contacts, it is just a number without a name that I can see in my call list, maybe a missed call.

Now I hope you got the point

And remember, this was normal in ANY previous BlackBerry OS than 10

Re: also 10.3 doesn't allow to query the calls list!!!

I've read both your posts very carefully.

The problem is you're not explaining it very carefully or succintly.

I still don't understand. You want the call history, notes, etc., of a non-contact phone number?

Non-contact phone number

Yes, it has ever and ever (before than OS10) been possible to click a number in the calls list and see the full log of events happen with that number in chronological order and NOT ONLY, clicking on a given call, you were able to see its lenght.

Thank you for helping the translation on my cryptic english.

Re: also 10.3 doesn't allow to query the calls list!!!

With full log it obviously mean calls and or smses exchanged with that "non-contact phone number"

and in a matter of one/two clicks you were able to figure out and or reconstruct who you are going to call back.

Re: also 10.3 doesn't allow to query the calls list!!!

I'm looking at several of my non-contact calls, received or sent.

I can long press on that number on my call log, tap the ( i ) icon for "information" and see the history of calls to or from that number, in chronological order, with the date of the call to the right and the length of the call underneath.

Is not that what you want.

It's there.

Re: also 10.3 doesn't allow to query the calls list!!!

[ Edited ]

That is the supposed and logical place

Here it shows only the today last two or three calls and I would say: only if they happen today or maximum, yesterday.

Right now I try on a number with which I had 4 or 5 calls yesterday, I can show you the screenshots, in the calls list, there is a point where in the 6 available lines, they are there 4 calls with that number

I clicked right now the top one, the most recent, and the "i" you suggests, shows only the current call.

This is like this since the first day I've used this Q5. Until now the OS has been updated 3 times.

I also had spoken with people with Z10 vodafone Italy and the behaviour is the same

Please check this out, I've uploaded right now two screenshots
