What exactly are you doing?  For example, if you have an alarm or an appointment or a task set, you will get that notification when you simply power off the device.   You may be seeing a prompt along with the option to full power off.

Okay.   It has nothing to do with the auto on/off, as I said.   What do you have set?   An alarm?  A calendar appointment with a reminder?   A task with a reminder?

Re: blackberry curve

Something is set. That is what is causing the prompt. Maybe you have nothing set today and tomorrow, but what about Monday. The only mystery is what you have set. The reason for the prompt is answered.

Re: blackberry curve

It really isn't a problem. The device is working as designed.
