My Device: Playbook, Z10 LE, Dev Alpha B, 2x Dev Alpha C
My Carrier: 3, Orange, Vodafone in the UK on your LE

I came upon this by accident after swapping SIMs

I usually use Three but my DA-C is on Orange (free SIMs from their site)

I could only get on Three

Just for interest after the SIM swap I tried an update and get a much better OS

I can swap them back if I want and get a newer OS on the Z10 if I want now

I'm not sure exactly how this works - it may just need a free PAYG SIM as the DL is all via WiFi (I've got a few quid in the Orange / EE one)

Re: in the UK on your LE

Interesting, I got on Vodafone the day I received my Z10 (day before Good Friday if I recall).
Thats answered my main issue with this.

I haven't heard anything more about the swap for an STL-100-2 yet.

Though i'm really not worried personally about this as along as BlackBerry can provide us with prompt updates outside of the carrier stranglehold ideally, so we don't have to wait.

I flashed onto my LE on Friday then restored from a Link backup. all went well.
