The next bragging opportunity will be who gets the best numbers.
I'm hoping for 42.
Also watching for who gets in on eBay first and makes a killing. Not that I'm selling mine well I might if it goes for a few thousand.

I doubt you'll get 42, seeing as they've already given out a bunch in Amsterdam, 200 I think, and the if you look at the images at https://twitter.com/joeybeechey of the developer in Ontario that got his this morning, his number is 543 so I would think that your number will be much higher than 42.
Sorry to burst you bubble,

Actually, when you look at the unboxing video from some of the guys who got theirs at BB JAM Europe in Amsterdam, you'll notice the serial numbers are handed out at random.
This BlackBerry Elite dev got number 1045 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40QtSDovGWg) so there's still hope.

I'm not sure myself, didn't want to put you in your place there, but I'm only under the impression it's that way. Didn't want to offend you, my bad.

Don't worry, I'm not offended. I was assuming that they were going in order and had no facts to base it on.
Although, knowing that they have had thousands of LE devices already manufactured since the event in Amsterdam is sorta frustrating. I was thinking the 6 - 8 weeks was due to the time to manufacture the devices, but if they gave out devices that had numbers in the 1000's then that implies they had them completed, or a larger number completed since then.
