BB Limited Edition - Change of pickup date

Hello,

 

I got email that I can get my BB LE so I applied for it. It was quite long time ago when it was not know that LEs will not be shipped earlier than mid of March. I also asked in forum, but no aswer from BB (http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-10-Limited-Edition/BB10-real-device-quot-blackout-...

 

So I chosen date of first week of February and now it seems that I'll be about one month without device I can use for development.

 

I would like to change my data to reduce time without device. 

 

Is this possible?

As far as I know RIM said that dev alphas will be blocked anyway after January 30th. I cannot find the correct link to where I found this info, but I read it somewhere. I don't know how correct this info was either (I thought it was a rather official document from RIM). But if it is true, it doesn't matter when they will come and pick this up, because you will not be able to use it anyway.

 

But to answer your question about how to change this, maybe you contact RIM via mail. In some other posts I found that is was best to contact clientcare@brandalliance.com for any oroblems with the LE Trade-Up program. Maybe give this a try.

you can't change the pickup date from the system, but it's not a problem anyway, just inform the courier / you can always drop off the package at your convenient time using the original shipping label
