Q10 must be checked, other devices are just a plus.

Re: BBJam Europe - DevAlpha C

Q10 is indeed the only device that has to be supported to be approved :-)

And I was quite suprised when I read that it didn't had to work on the Q10 (it just had to be in Blackberry World). But now that I think about this, that is rather logical, because to this moment there is no way to really test your app for Q10-support.

Re: BBJam Europe - DevAlpha C

I tested my Apps, some had big, some had minor bugs on the Dev Alpha C. So some coding is needed, but I have now a REALLY BAD feeling that we are forced to put our Apps for the C model on the store without testing if our code changes are even working. And only to get finally able to test the App again on a real device AFTER it was submitted. This feels so wrong on many levers and it could cause bad reviews for our Apps. :smileyfrustrated:

Re: BBJam Europe - DevAlpha C

soaman, BlackBerry will probably have something else for the developers at that time. I don't think that they will disable all devices from developers, they will probably have some other programs/devices for developers.

Oh, I know that :smileyhappy:

Just wanted to say that it was written in terms and conditions. But you can also read about fee/custom/taxes coverage and we all know well that BlackBerry has a great heart.

Re: BBJam Europe - DevAlpha C

Really glad that BlackBerry is giving all the Devs from the Jam a shot at getting the AlphaC. Really looking forward to building some apps which include keyboard shortcuts.

Re: BBJam Europe - DevAlpha C

I am rather a big fan of the hardware keyboards. So I hope a lot of devs will start using the keyboard for all kinds of shortcuts. It makes live a lot easier, and faster.
